Sulphur concentrations in five rock samples and one fines sample from the Apollo 12 mission range from 550 ppm to 903 ppm.δ34Svalues for the rocks range from +0.37‰ to +0.68‰ while for the fines sample it is +8.70‰ (all with respect to Canyon Diablo troilite). The corresponding values obtained forδ33S andδ36Sshow that the isotope effects involved are mass dependent and that the amounts of sulphur present in the samples mask spallogenic contributions to33S and36S.
