The lower density,higher strength,higher insulating capacity,anti-shake,resistance to alkali-aggregate reaction and environment-friendliness are the most obvious characteristics of light weight aggregate concrete (LWAC),and this new sustainable material has comprehensive economic and social value when it is used in some special projects,such as large-span bridge and framework,high-rise building,offshore installation and soft groundwork.
