Large amount of acidic waste water has been produced every year in dirt bing and open pit of Dexing Copper Mine, which has polluted the rivers around the orebody. The cause of formation of acidic waste water is mainly the weathering of pyrite and rainfall leaching, then a series of chemical reactions and microbiological actions.
