Positions and magnitudes are given for 488 quasar candidates, 14 compact emission-line galaxies, and 8 white dwarf candidates discovered with the Canada-France-Hawaii blue grens in a 7.5 square degree area in the directions 1338+27 and 1639+40. The goal of this survey is to enlarge the areas previously surveyed in these regions to provide magnitude-limited samples of quasars for the study of the luminosity function and large scale distribution of quasars at moderate to high (z<3.4) redshifts. Redshifts are given for seven of the new quasars, including one BAL quasar
