Tectonic caves at Solai, Kenya. were explored in 1970. These lie in a complex geological area of the Great Rift Valley in columnar-faulted Ignimbrite. Fissures are presumed to have been widened by later tectonic activity e.g. the major eathquake of January, 1928. The caves and exploration are brielly described.
