A Y-doped TiO2-supported MnOXhas been developed by partly substituting the Ti4+of the catalyst with Y3+to promote oxygen vacancies for charge compensation. The aim of this study was to improve the activity of low-temperature SCR of NO with NH3in the presence of excess oxygen by means of increasing the amount of oxygen vacancies. Analysis by PL spectra, XPS and EPR showed that Y doping increased the amount of oxygen vacancies and superoxide ions. The catalytic activity of NO removal was promoted by Y doping.
