Assume that there are beings whose mental capacities are infinite in two respects: (i) they are able to bear in mind infinitely long linguistic items and (ii) they can hold infinitely many linguistic items before their minds. Thus, combining (i) and (ii), they are capable of reasoning with infinitely many, infinitely long linguistic items. In particular, these beings pride themselves on their enormous excellence in conceptual analysis: where humans, with their finitary restrictions, first analyse a concept P in terms of another concept Q1, only to find out later that a more fine-grained analysis of P can be given on the basis of Q1 and Q2, which they further improve to an analysis of P in terms of Q1, Q2, Q3, and so forth, these beings perceive a general pattern and use their abilities to define P in one infinitely long formula that involves infinitely many concepts Q1, Q2, Q3, ... at the same time. For example, their definition of P might be of the form
