This article presents a study which described scopes reduction for blocks of finite alternating groups. It offers a brief background on Morita equivalences between pairs of blocks of symmetric groups. It also demonstrates how Scopes reduction will give equivalences between pairs of blocks of finite symmetric groups and the blocks of the alternating groups covered by them.
