A classof semigroups is globally determined if any two semigroups ofwith isomorphic globals are themselves isomorphic. A classof semigroups is said to satisfy the strong isomorphism property if for each pairand each isomorphismfromP(S) ontoP(T),, where,, and hence. In this paper we investigate classes of bands satisfying the strong isomorphism property. We provide a description of the largest subclassofsatisfying the strong isomorphism property for a globally determined classof semigroups, and give some characterizations of the members offor classof all bands.
