It is pointed out that the renewed value of tau mass, mr=1777 MeV, is in excellent agreement with the prediction mr=1776.97 MeV from a charged lepton mass formula based on an SU(3)-family nonet scheme. As an extension of the scenario, neutrino mixing angles, and so on, are speculated.
