In this paper, we classified the paracontact metric (κ,μ)‐manifold satisfying the Miao‐Tam critical equation withκ> −1. We proved that it is locally isometric to the product of a flat (n+ 1)‐dimensional manifold and ann‐dimensional manifold of negative constant curvature −4.
