DISCUSSIONDecreases in the patient's dyspnea were accompanied by improved measures of underlying ILD and PH, disorders not within the original purview of the study. In addition to bringing about improvement in the non-pulmonary disease manifestations, the UVA1 irradiation effected reversal of ILD and PH in this, the only patient with either of these disease manifestations ever treated in this institution with the UVA1 light therapy.
