ABSTRACT This article seeks to inform counselors, counseling students, and counselor educators about the professional applications of podcasting. It discusses the historical development and recent proliferation of podcasts, provides a basic overview of the medium’s production process, highlights existing mental health-related podcasts, and integrates relevant literature from other professional disciplines to illustrate the clinical and educational utility of podcasts.
