We tabulate the first fifty q-coefficients of the genus zero functions (Hauptmoduln) which arise in the context of" Monstrous moonshinenand give the decomposition of the corresponding head characters into irreducibles. The data presented are expected to be a fertile source of conjectures, some of which are discussed here. In our view the importance of the work of Mahler [Mah] to the understanding of Monstrous moonshine has not been realized.Background material and some eariier computations are described in [CN],[F],[Mas],[N],[0],[Ql],[Q2], and [S]. Familiarity with these references will benefit the reader. The extensive unpublished computations by Smith [S] of the decomposition of head characters into irreducibles were made in 1980 but used a different method for computing the qcoefficients.
