Twenty-four species of the family Psocidae (Psocoptera) are listed for New Guinea; four new genera and 19 new species are described and keys to genera and species provided. One of the new genera, Elytropsocus, is coleopteriform and flightless and has only been found above 3000 m on Mt Wilhelm.
