In this article we discuss two problems related to rotating stars. The first part of the article deals a recent suggestion [11] that w-modes of supercompact stars might become CFS unstable, while in the second part we present the evolution equations for fluid perturbations of fast rotating stars and we present some preliminary numerical results.
