Distribution and Population Number of Trachypithecus francoisi in Chongzuo White-headed Langur Nature Reserve and Adjacent Area,Guangxi

2012年10 - 12月，采用访谈和实地调查相结合的方法，对崇左白头叶猴自然保护区及周边地区黄叶猴（Trachypithecus francoisi）的分布和种群数量进行了调查。结果表明：白头叶猴自然保护区总面积为9714 hmm2，共有55只（10个类群）；抚绥县昌平地区总面积为1073 hmm2，共有33只（7个类群），分别占广西白头叶猴种群总数的14%和10%。通过加强白头叶猴多竹自然保护区的能力建设和宣传，以及在昌平建立小型自然保护区，进一步加强对白头叶猴及其栖息地的保护。
From October to December,2012,a survey was conducted to investigate the distribution and population number of Franois' langur Trachypithecus francoisi in Chongzuo White-headed Langur Nature Reserve and adjacent area by interviewing and field investigation. The results indicated that there were 55 individuals( 10 groups) in the total area of 9714 hm2in White-headed Langur Nature Reserve and 33 individuals( 7 groups) in the total area of 1073 hm2in Changping,Fusui county,which accounted for 14% and 10% of total populations of Franois' langur in Guangxi,respectively. The protection of Trachypithecus francoisi and its habitats can be further enhanced by strengthening the capacity-building and propaganda in Duozhu of White-headed Langur Nature Reserve and by establishing small nature reserve in Changping.
