Calculations showing the existence of hitherto unsuspected zeros of£'(«)(the derivative of the Riemann zeta function) inside the critical strip raise interest in the question of what regions are free of zeros for each derivative. Sections 1 and 2 give bounds for these regions for the right and left-half planes. The striking unexpected positions of the zeros of£'and£" are described in § 3.
