A new type of magnetism is found in the two-channel Kondo lattice where each non-Kramers doublet is coupled with two conduction bands by the orbital exchangeJ. The quadrupolar Kondo effect leads to an SDW state in the case of quarter filled bands, i.e., one conduction electron per site. This order is understood from the strong coupling limit with respect toJ. Using the continuous-time Monte Carlo method combined with the DMFT at finite temperatureT, the phase diagram is constructed in theJ–Tplane for the quarter filled case.
