A study on the “Growth of the fetal central nervous system in the human fetus as expressed by graphic analysis and empirical formulae” was published by the author in The Journal of Comparative Neurology (’21). The data used in this paper consisted of linear and volumetric observations on the central nervous system of 156 human fetuses; 54 males, 56 females, and 46 of unknown sex. The specimens ranged from 3.1 to 53.6 em. in crown-heel length. For further information regarding the material and the methods used in collecting it the reader is referred to the original paper.
