Dr Russell is professor of radiology, neurology, and neurosurgery and in clinical practice in the Department of Radiology, Feinberg School of Medicine of Northwestern University and Northwestern Medicine. He is immediate past chair of the department of radiology, and past chief of diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology. A past president of the American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR), he received its Gold Medal in 2013. He holds fellowships in the ACR and the SIR.
