Under NACHC Bylaws, Organizational Members “in good standing” not sending the Executive Director or Board Chair to the Annual Meeting, but wishing to vote, may authorize an individual to hold its proxy. Authorization is granted by sending a letter on the Center’s stationery, signed by the Board Chair or Executive Director, to the Credentials Committee stating the name of the person who will be holding the proxy. An Organizational Member “in good standing” may authorize only one proxy (which carries four [4] votes) on its behalf. There is no limit to the number of proxies an individual can be authorized to hold. Proxies are not transferable. The designated person cannot give the proxy to another person.
