The class through the communication with a community was performed as a creative education to the students in civil engineering course. The lesson consists of the subject investigation and its presentation. Not only teachers and students but also people living in the area of the university neigh-borhood participate in the presentation. Since the object of civil engineering is very wide, the civil engineers with fair judgment are required. Moreover, the importance of the preservation of envi-ronment has been recognized, and therefore, the study menu related to the role of a local community is desirable to be offered to the students in civil engineering course.
