Source/Description: A (CA) n microsatellite containing clone (WT251) was isolated from a chromosome 8 phage lambda library (ATCC 57702) by hybridization to a poly (CA) oligonucleotide. The sequences flanking the repeat were analyzed using degenerate sequencing primers (1). DNA sequence flanking the repeat was used to design primers for the PCR.
