In this paper it is proved that any nonsingular Fano variety of genus 6 in with is either a section of the Grassmannian of lines in by two hyperplanes and a quadric under the Plucker embedding of in or is the intersection of a quadric and a cone over a section of by a subspace of codimension 3.
