本文利用Grubel-Lloyd(GL)指数分析了2000-2016年间泰国和马来西亚食品加工业的产业内贸易。马来西亚的GL指数高于同期东亚国家的平均GL指数。另一方面，泰国的指数低于平均水平。原因是马来西亚BEC 122(家庭消费加工食品)的GL指数较高，贸易权重较大。
This paper analyzes intra-industry trade of the food processing sector in Thailand and Malaysia using Grubel-Lloyd (GL) indices during 2000–2016. The GL indices for Malaysia are found to be higher than the average GL index for East Asian countries in the same period. On the other hand, the indices for Thailand are lower than the average. The reason is that the GL index for BEC 122 (processed food for household consumption) in Malaysia is high and has a larger trade weight.
