With the development of networks, container technology has become an important part for the server side. Hosts must download a container image before container starting. Therefore, several hosts often need to download images from the image registry server. These activities increase the load on the registry server and increase the time it takes to start the container for the first time. After examining use of a P2P file system to share image files among hosts to improve image download speeds, we conduct experimental validation.
