尽管社会空间隔离在社会学或地理学中是一个常见的话题，但在墨西哥，关于这个话题的研究很少。这可能是由于缺乏明确的概念理论背景和/或缺乏衡量它的具体数据。本文提出了对这一概念的近似，特别是对这一概念的理论和经验构建。此外，还提出了墨西哥城市的研究议程。
Even though, sociospatial segregation is a common topic in sociology or geography, in Mexico there are few studies on the topic in Mexico. This can due to the lack of a clear theoretical background of the concept and/or the lack of specific data for measure it. In this paper an approximation to the concept is presented, specifically to both the theoretical and empirical construction of the concept. Also, a research agenda for the Mexican cities is presented.
