Reviews of various types of follow-up studies show that the adult outcome of children with ADHD can vary significantly. This article reviews characteristics of the child, such as IQ, symptoms, comorbidity, specific learning disabilities, aggression, conduct disorder, mood disorder, and predictor of substance abuse, family parameters, and treatments.
