After a critical comparison of the leading classifications of the Cruciferae by Hayek (1911) and O. E. Schulz (1926), the author arrives at the following arrangement of tribes, based chiefly on the former system: 1) Stanleyeae, 2) Pringleeae, 3) Romanschul-zieae, 4) Streptantheae, 5) Sisymbrieae, 6) Hesperideae, 7) Arabideae, 8) Alysseae, 9) Lepidieae, 10) Brassiceae, 11) Chamireae, 12) Schizopetaleae, 13) Stenopetaleae, 14) Heliophobeae, 15) Cremolobeae. An emended genealogical tree of the family and a conspectus of the tribes and subtribes of the whole family, as well as of the genera of Europe and the Caucasian countries according to tribes and subtribes, are given. || ABSTRACT AUTHORS: Max Onno
