The aim of this work is to evaluate whether interference competition between predators plays an important role in arotifer predator–prey system. Our results indicated that higher predator density leads to depression of predation rateseven if sufficient prey was offered. Crowded culture volume strengthens competition. In addition, this competitionmight be time-dependent.
