The spatial form of tourist town reflects its long-term historical development and its interaction with modern tourism industry. This paper puts forward a new concept as " genre space", and attempts to do a quantitative research on tourist towns, studying its spatial structure from the perspective of space syntax. Through comparative analysis of the value of the corresponding variables, the common internal structure of tourism towns under the different cultural backgrounds can be understood. Combined with other existing elements such as landscape, the distribution of public facilities, its spatial structure can be described, so as to offer a new perspective of the spatial research of tourist towns.
