The important ramifications of this correction in the potential functions on our results are as follows:(i) The rotation given by E in (21) is NOT dependent on the size of the insert as we stated.(ii) The principl~ l/r singularity given by (35) vanishes EXCEPT for the case when the interior of the crack contains a conducting medium (E---+ CX).
