Dear Editor, Flat warts (FWs) usually result from human papillomavirus (HPV) types 3, 10, 28 or 41. They often present in a linear array and are due to a self-inoculation of the virus. The lesions present as skincolored or brown-colored slightly elevated papules. Common methods for treatment of FW include cryotherapy, topical retinoid, topical salicylic acid products or oral isotretinoin. Here, we present a case of extensive FW that was successfully treated with 44 C local hyperthermia.
