Dr. Hiroshi Mizuno is currently appointed as a Professor and Chief, Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Juntendo University School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan. Dr. Mizuno’s clinical interests include breast reconstruction, burn reconstructive surgery, limb salvage surgery and blepharoplasty. In addition, Dr. Mizuno have been involved in basic research with regard to adipose-derived stem cells and control-released growth factors for regenerative medicine and wound healing. Dr. Mizuno is a former visiting fellow at Division of Plastic Surgery, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he was one of the core members who firstly discovered mesodermal stem cells within adipose tissue.
