The purpose of this paper is to present a new integral representation of a degree eight L-function for GSp(4) x GL(2). In principle our method always works when both forms correspond to holomorphic modular forms and in this case under certain assumptions we obtain a special value result (Theorem 4.8.3) for this L-function. We believe our result fits into the general conjecture on special values of L-functions by Deligne [4], There is also a very interesting conjecture on special values of quadratic twists of degree four L-functions for GSp(4) by B cherer [3]. But s far s the author knows, our result is the first general one on special values related to the degree four L-functions for GSp(4).
