Recent progress in microrobotics is moving us closer to a future in which tiny intelligent machines will navigate throughout our bodies. These microrobots will aid medical professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of a number of human diseases. This talk will overview recent progress in this field and discuss near-term applications in ophthalmic therapies as well as longer term possibilities.
