。.‘’(Suchman,2006,45页)。
Relationship-centered care stresses the importance of partnership, patient individuality, shared decision-making, self awareness, and how health care practitioners relate to the patient, community and each other (Tresolini & Pew-Fetzer Task Force, 1994). The relationship between individuals within a community of practitioners is significant within relationship-centered care because health practitioners must clearly communicate with one another to provide the most effective patient care (Tresolini & Pew-Fetzer Task Force, 1994). Suchman (2006) proposed a theory of human interaction, complex responsive processes of relating (CPPR), focused on the relational processes and means by which health care practitioners communicate with one another. Implicit within CPPR theory is the suggestion that ‘‘change occurs not by designing new structures but by introducing new themes into the organizational conversation in the hope that they will amplify and disseminate’’ (Duffy, 2006, p. S46). CPPR theory encourages meaningful conversation and the need to ‘‘pay more attention to what we are doing together . . .’’ (Suchman, 2006, p. S45).
