QUEVICO is a question-based video composition scheme in which video indexing and editing is designed from the viewpoint of “question and answer”, and in which multi-view videos can be effectively used. Based on the tagset in this framework, we can structurize a video in a suitable way for retrieving a video portion relevant to the question. By editing and arranging the obtained portions, a smart answer will be given to the user. This paper introduces the basic idea of QUEVICO, its tagset, answering process, and our prototype system.
