In this article, we consider permutation orbifold models ofC2-cofinite vertex operator algebras of CFT type. We show theC2-cofiniteness of the 2-cyclic permutation orbifold modelfor an arbitraryC2-cofinite simple vertex operator algebraVof CFT type. We also give a proof of theC2-cofiniteness of a-orbifold modelof the lattice vertex operator algebraVLassociated with a rank one positive definite even latticeLby using our result and theC2-cofiniteness ofVL.
