Selenium binding liver protein (LpsB) and selenium binding liver protein 2 (Lpsb2) were mapped using the Jackson Laboratory BSS interspecific backcross panel and polymerase chain reaction amplification of DNA with primers for homologous regions of the 2 genes. The map positions on chromosome 3 were centromere -D3Mit22- (9.6±2.5) -Lpsb,Lpsb2- (5.3±2.3) -D3Mit11.
