The optical luminosity variations of the nucleus of the Seyfert galaxy NGC 4151 are examined. Power spectrum analysis is performed on heretofore unpublished photographic photometry as well as on the published photographic and photoelectric photometric data of many observers. Contrary to previous suggestions, no evidence for any significant periodicities on timescales ranging from days to decades was found.
