Complex analysis and in particular conformal mapping (CM) is still an important tool in applied mathematics. Sometimes one is interested in the determination of the mapping function itself, sometimes one looks for global quantities only, like the module of a quadrilateral. The use of high speed computers allows us to solve such mapping problems to considerable accuracy.
