In this paper, we give necessary and sufficient conditions for the-well-posedness (resp.-well-posedness) for the third order degenerate differential equation with finite delay: ( M u ) ′ ′ ′ ( t ) + ( N u ) ′ ′ ( t ) = A u ( t ) + B u ′ ( t ) + G u t ′ ′ + F u t ′ + H u t + f ( t ) onwith periodic boundary conditions,,, whereA,B,MandNare closed linear operators on a Banach spaceXsatisfying, the operatorsG,FandHare bounded linear from(resp.) intoX.
