Nowadays, the world economic development has entered into a new historical stage which is called the knowledge economy era. In this era, high technology industries have become the first pillar of economic growth. Some people generally think of this competition of the contemporary international society is considered to be the comprehensive national strength and science and technology competition. In fact, the high technology industry has become the focus of today’s international competition and the strategic commanding heights that major nations are pursuing. Based on the analysis of the related conceptions in high technology, this article analyses the relationship between high technology and economy. Learning historical experience through applied empirical. Most importantly, in order to have a further analysis of the effect of high technology on the economy, the high technology data has been analysed. Through data, we can understand the impact of technology on economy more intuitively.
