Capsule Summary Murine studies suggest a role for the NLRP3 inflammasome in obesity-driven airway inflammation; human studies are lacking. Our findings demonstrate that human in vivo ozone-induced airway and systemic inflammation, measured by IL-1β, correlates with BMI.
