随着昆明陈宫大学城的搬迁，大学城的师生在知识、学历、文化素质等方面与周边居民形成了巨大的反差。陈公大学城高校图书馆应联合起来，发挥各自的文化优势，提高居民素质，普及专业技术知识。乡镇高校图书馆可以为云南省公共文化服务体系建设和构建区域和谐社会做出贡献。本文主要采用文献资料法，分析了对周边居民进行文化服务的必要性和可能性，阐述了公共文化服务的内容和模式。
With the move of Chengong university town in Kunming,teachers and students in the town have formed tremendous contrasts with the surrounding residents in respect of knowledge,degree and cultural quality. The university libraries of Chengong university town should unite together and use their cultural advantages in order to improve the residents' qualities and popularize the professional and technical knowledge. The university libraries of the town may make contributions to construction of Yunnan's public cultural service system and building the regional harmonious society. This paper,using literature method mainly,analyzes the necessity and probability of cultural service to the surrounding residents and elaborates the contents and patterns of the public cultural service.
