Objectives – During residency training, the resident should become familiar with 1. The anatomy and physiology of the neuroendocrine regulatory and feedback systems 2. The basic mechanisms involved in the reciprocal interactions between the nervous system and the endocrine system 3. Hormonal, imaging and electrophysiologic diagnostic tests that complement the clinical assessment 4. Principles of hormonal treatment of neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders
