The self-diffusion of ethylbenzene in polystyrene has been measured by means of the NMR field-gradient spin-echo technique. It is shown that the values of the self-diffusion coefficient can be estimated by the modified free-volume theory of Vrentas and Duda.
Die Selbstdiffusion von Ethylbenzen in Polystyren wurde mit Hilfe der NMR-Feldgradient-Spinecho-Methode gemessen. Es wird gezeigt, das die Werte des Selbstdiffusionskoeffizienten unter Anwendung einer modifizierten Theorie des freien Volumens von Vrentas und Duda abgeschatzt werden konnen.
