在中国西藏羊八井建造了一台新的μ子-中子望远镜。它已经成功运行了两年。在羊八井的同一地点，一台中子监测仪、一台中子望远镜和一台μ子望远镜同时监测宇宙射线。预计这些仪器将获得关于高能太阳宇宙射线的充分信息，从而大大有助于对地球空间环境的研究和了解。本文介绍了新建成的μ子-中子望远镜。
A new muon–neutron telescope has been constructed at Yangbajing, Tibet, China. It has been successfully operating for 2 years. At the same location in Yangbajing, cosmic rays are simultaneously monitored by a neutron monitor, a neutron telescope and a muon telescope. It is expected that these instruments will obtain sufficient information regarding energetic solar cosmic rays to greatly benefit research and understanding of the space environment of the Earth. This paper describes the newly built muon–neutron telescope.
